Industry Associations

Founded in 1944, the Commercial Finance Association is the trade group of the asset-based financial services industry, with members throughout the U.S., Canada and around the world. Members include the asset-based lending arms of domestic and foreign commercial banks, small and large independent finance companies, floor plan financing organizations, factoring organizations and financing subsidiaries of major industrial corporations. CFA membership is by organization, not by individual.

Founded in 1954, the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) is the premier global association for professionals involved in corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions for mid to large companies. Leaders in corporations, private equity, finance, and professional service firms focused on building value in their organizations belong to ACG.

The International Factoring Association's (IFA) goal is to assist the Factoring community by providing information, training, purchasing power and a resource for the Factoring community. It's mission is to disseminate information to the Factoring Community in regards to developments and changes in the industry, and to provide a forum for educational meetings and seminars.

The Risk Management Association (RMA) is a member-driven professional association whose objective is to further the ability of our members to identify, assess, and manage the impacts of credit risk, operational risk, and market risk on their businesses and their customers. RMA provides education, networking and leadership opportunities for our membership.

IWIRC is an international professional association for insolvency practitioners of all types (accountants, appraisers, asset-based lenders, bankers, in-house counsel [or others assigned to represent a creditor on creditor committees], financial advisors, restructuring and turnaround experts, lawyers). Its purpose is to offer opportunities for networking, professional development, leadership and mentoring on a local, national and international level.

Founded in 1919, FCIB is an international membership group with more than 1,200 members in 55 countries around the world. In addition to world headquarters in the U.S., FCIB maintains operations in Europe and Canada.
